Hello! I am one of the most future-oriented people, a business magnate, investor, entrepreneur, inventor and engineer. Throughout my life I have been a part of many business ventures but currently I am full-time involved in Tesla Inc., SpaceX and SolarCity. I am ambitious for the future and I believe that in my lifetime people will be able to have commercial space flights to Mars.

  • The managed flight of a spacecraft called Crew Dragon. The spacecraft successfully entered orbit and docked with the ISS.
  • Co-founded Neuralink, a neurotechnology company focused on developing brain–computer interfaces, and founded The Boring Company, a tunnel construction company. I proposed the Hyperloop, a high-speed vactrain transportation system.
  • Co-founded OpenAI, a nonprofit research company that promotes friendly artificial intelligence.
  • Initial public offering in 2010, after which Tesla stock has risen significantly; it became the most valuable carmaker in summer 2020.
  • Unveiled the first Tesla Model S.
  • My company SpaceX won a NASA contract to demo cargo delivery to ISS and make Falcon-9.
  • Launched my first rocket (which wasn't a success as it exploded soo after the launch).
  • Invested in Tesla.
  • Meeting with Tesla founders, Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning, who pitched to me exactly what I wanted - Electric cars.
  • The beginning of electric cars. I met a JB Straubel, who is electric car enthusiast such as me, to discuss the future.
  • I founded my 3rd company - Space Exploration Technologies Corporation (SpaceX).
  • I sold my company Zip2 for over $341 million. I also founded X.com this year, which was an online financial service company. The following year, X.com was turned into PayPal, as it is known today.
  • Dropped out of Stanford and started a business venture, called Zip2, together with my brother.
  • Left a college in Ontario and moved to Philadelphia to study physics and economics. In 1994, graduated with a Wharton economics degree.
  • Moved to Canada and soon started a college in Ontario.
  • When I was a child, I had an interest with computers and programming. I wrote a video game called Blastar, which was sold for $500.
  • My parents got divorced. I chose to live with my father, Errol Musk.
  • Born in Pretoria, South Africa to engineer father and model mother, I was the oldest one of three children.
